Time Is Running Out
I made a list a while back of things that I needed/wanted before Seth got here. Well, I have just about 4 weeks left before my induction, unless he comes before then on his own, and I don't have everything LoL!! I still need a bouncy seat since my crazy little girls broke the one I had. I guess I can't complain, it lasted through 2 babies LoL. I need 3 Playtex Ventaire bottles to have on hand just in case, though I plan on breastfeeding until little man gets teeth. I need a sterilite container for all his memories and keepsakes he'll have. I plan on getting 10-12 bumGenius 4.0 cloth diapers which will cost a pretty penny but they're MUCH better made than Nubunz so gotta get some. bumGenius is getting ready to make prints on their diapers (can preview them Oct. 5th and will ship in November) so that's cool. I need another crib mattress for Rylie once she's out of Seth's room (well, it will be Seth's room. He'll be cosleeping with us for a while) and into sharing a room with Taylor but that won't be for another 5 or 6 months. I can't believe I'm so close, it doesn't seem real. The end of this pregnancy hasn't been as bad as the others... maybe it's because I have an end in sight, an actual week I KNOW he'll be here?! I dunno, but I'm excited to hold him and have him here in our house. Andy's so excited for labor and delivery, it's his favorite time. I know he'll be so helpful in making sure I do my best to achieve a med-free delivery. He's so motivating and sure of me... I wish I felt as confident LoL. He's my "cheerleader" during the pushing stage... like a kid in a candy store. If it weren't for him during my accidental natural birth of Rylie I think there would have been a lot of screaming involved :-P He has recently reminded me, though, that I was punching the bed, whining during contractions, and begging for someone to please help me when I had to try and hold her in for 30 mins until the midwife came back in my room from another delivery, hahaha!!! I told him I won't hold Seth in and he and the nurse better be ready to catch him because I refuse to endure that agony again, LoL. Anyway, so much to do, so little time!
