***“ … His sheep follow Him because they know His voice.” John 10:4b
***“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3
***"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
***"Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way." Proverbs 3:5-6
So the last few weeks... who am I kidding, YEARS... I've had the the worry of my kid's education on my mind. What parent doesn't worry about that, right? I have prayed and prayed but have known the answer all along. I've fought the Lord in my heart and in my mind. I
know I will home school my children. God leads each family differently but I can almost audibly hear Him tell me to home school my kids. "But Lord, I REALLY don't know if I can do that". "My life would be so much easier if I didn't", ect... aren't excuses anymore. I finally allowed my heart to take in His words and can't escape Bible verses (those are just a few above) that cement this decision in my mind. So Lord, I surrender, You win. I DO know Your voice, I feel it in every fiber of my being and as much as I want this for my kids, I'm still scared. I'm slowly learning to rely on Him more and more and it's hard to trust something that seems so scary. As my mom has always told me; if God brings you to it, He'll see you through it (see mom, I really WAS listening!). So, get ready to hear about this roller coaster ride I'm about to begin. Things are about to get interesting...
